Super Boof

Super Boof was originally bred by California's Blockhead under the name Blockberry, crossing Black Cherry Punch with Tropicana Cookies. The strain later gained wider recognition after breeder Mobile Jay selected a standout phenotype and reintroduced it under the Super Boof name, going on to be named Leafly's Strain of the Year for 2024.

Super Boof is a balanced hybrid, typically around 50% indica and 50% sativa, with THC levels ranging anywhere from 19% to 32% depending on the cut and lab. Its dominant terpenes include myrcene, limonene, and caryophyllene, contributing to a sweet berry and cherry aroma layered with tart citrus, gassy funk, and a faint spiced finish. Reported effects include a giggly, euphoric head high paired with deep, relaxing body calm.

A Closer Look at Super Boof Strain

THC lab results for Super Boof vary quite a bit from source to source, with some batches testing in the high teens and others climbing well past 30%, though the strain most commonly lands somewhere in the high 20s. The buds are chunky and dense, deep green dappled with purple, and coated in a milky, silvery layer of trichomes that gives the buds a distinctly wet-looking sheen.

Myrcene leads the nose with an earthy, cherry-forward richness, while limonene brightens things up with citrus zest and caryophyllene adds a peppery, spiced undertone that lingers on the exhale alongside notes of berry and tart fruit.
