Jack Herer was bred by Sensi Seeds in the Netherlands during the 1990s, crossing a Haze hybrid with Northern Lights #5 and Shiva Skunk. Named after the cannabis activist and author of The Emperor Wears No Clothes, the strain was created to combine the cerebral elevation of Haze genetics with the heavy resin production inherited from its indica parents, and it's gone on to become one of the most influential and widely bred strains in modern cannabis.
