Quality Roots Waterford Approved for Recreational Sales

Big news for Waterford Township cannabis consumers: Quality Roots Waterford has been approved to add recreational marijuana sales to our existing medical operation. This approval means adult-use customers 21 and older will soon be able to shop premium cannabis at our Waterford location.

Township Approval Marks Major Milestone

In August 2023, Waterford Township trustees approved Quality Roots Waterford at 1700 Tull Court to transition from medical-only to dual-license operation. This decision allows us to serve both medical cardholders and recreational customers from the same location.

The approval came as welcome news for Quality Roots CEO Aric Klar, who noted that the medical-only market represents a small fraction of overall cannabis demand. With recreational approval, Quality Roots Waterford can now serve the broader community.

$2.5 Million Investment in Waterford

Quality Roots Waterford represents a significant investment in the township. Our new, state-of-the-art facility cost $2.5 million to build and demonstrates our commitment to serving Waterford with premium cannabis products and exceptional customer service.

The location offers convenient access for customers from Pontiac, Clarkston, Auburn Hills, and beyond. Quality Roots expects to bring thousands of new visitors to Waterford Township each month, supporting local businesses and contributing to the township's economy.

What's Next for Quality Roots Waterford

Following township approval, Quality Roots applied for the required state license to begin recreational sales. Once approved by the state, we'll be able to serve all adult customers 21 and older with valid identification.

Quality Roots Waterford will offer the same premium flower, pre-rolls, edibles, and concentrates available at our other Michigan locations, backed by our knowledgeable staff and commitment to customer service.
