Clout King cannabis brand grew out of a satirical Instagram account with irreverent commentary on corporate cannabis quickly. Behind the account was Isaiah Dawid, known as "Z," with a decade of legacy growing experience brought straight into the legal market.
The brand had its first branded flower on California shelves, which was the original Peanut Butter Cup strain, which still has steady demand today. They are now present in Michigan, through a partnership with Emerald Growth Partners, and in five other states.
Hand-trimmed and packaged flower and pre-rolls made of genetics developed entirely in-house through extensive pheno-hunting and breeding have defined Clout King's Michigan presence ever since, alongside the tagline "Friends Don't Let Friends Smoke Mids."
